Cedar Slab Desk

This is a cedar slab desk. The base is made from cedar posts that I used a draw knife to bring down to size and get all the bark off. I also used it to whittle down the mortise and tenons with a draw knife. The aprin is made from aromatic cedar and all the bolts are old fationed square head black smith bolts. This desk has a hidden shelf under the top where a power strip is located and all power, network, and video cables tuck away.

Pecan Slab Desk

This build had some very specific requirements. The area has a very limited space, that is just a recess into the wall. The desk had to fit within the area, and also needed to have a space to hold the entire audio/video mixer and equipment. I made a large cherry base to hold all the media equipment with air circulation as well as space for wiring. The top is a pecan slab finished with hard wax finish and ceramic topcoat for smooth protection of the surface. I then made a custom surround sound to go around the area to make it a private area, with a door entry.

Spalted Pecan Shelf Desk

This is a small shelf desk I made for a customer. It is a very small space, but this area needs to have access to computers and a monitor. This design really has worked out well in this spot.

His and Her Desks

This customer came to me wanting an office both her husband and herself could use at the same time. She wanted plenty of storage and to utilize the entire room. This is what we came up with.
