I layed out my design for him and he agreed. He wanted to get the slab wood himself. The base is made from cedar posts that I used a draw knife to bring down to size and get all the bark off. I also used it to whittle down the mortise and tenons with a draw knife. The aprin is made from aromatic cedar and all the bolts are old fationed square head black smith bolts. This desk has a hidden shelf under the top where a power strip is located and all power, network, and video cables tuck away.&lt;/p></description><media:content xmlns:media="http://search.yahoo.com/mrss/" url="https://saltoftheearthcarpentry.com/projects/2023/cedar-slab-desk/featured20230512.jpg"/></item></channel></rss>
