A customer came to me to make a live edge bed. I layed out my design for him and he agreed. He wanted to get the slab wood himself. He found the most beautiful piece of sycamore I have yet seen!

Pecan Top Credenza

I had a beautiful piece of spalted pecan that was too small for a table but not something I wanted to split up and use in smaller projects. I designed this project around the top. It is finished out in hard wax finish and a top coat of ceramic.

Cedar Slab Desk

This is a cedar slab desk. The base is made from cedar posts that I used a draw knife to bring down to size and get all the bark off. I also used it to whittle down the mortise and tenons with a draw knife. The aprin is made from aromatic cedar and all the bolts are old fationed square head black smith bolts. This desk has a hidden shelf under the top where a power strip is located and all power, network, and video cables tuck away.
