The area has a very limited space, that is just a recess into the wall. The desk had to fit within the area, and also needed to have a space to hold the entire audio/video mixer and equipment. I made a large cherry base to hold all the media equipment with air circulation as well as space for wiring. The top is a pecan slab finished with hard wax finish and ceramic topcoat for smooth protection of the surface. I then made a custom surround sound to go around the area to make it a private area, with a door entry.&lt;/p></description><media:content xmlns:media="http://search.yahoo.com/mrss/" url="https://saltoftheearthcarpentry.com/projects/2022/pecan-slab-desk/featured20220715.jpg"/></item></channel></rss>
